Educational Background
Martha Cooper received her BSW from the University of Kansas in 1990 and her MSW from the school of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991. She worked as a medical social worker in general medical, inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and hospice settings. She frequently provides presentations on grief and loss and end-of-life issues. Martha joined the School of Social Work as the Assistant Dean in 2000.
